So here's the deal, this place goes unused simply because I've become quite addicted to GJ and its evil ways so I figured I'd use this for SOMETHING. Anything. So as it is my oldest journal I figured I'd use it to update about something I love and am quite passionate about and since the season has just begun there is no better place to annoy the good folk on my friends list with my footie rants.

That and Doctor Who but I have to wait until Christmas to get excited about that.

Having had said that, I am now allowed to get excited about Alan Smith heading up to the Toon and if it wasn't 5am there would be heaps of caps and exclamation points but at the moment I simply cannot be bothered. Geremi's also headed up there and this makes my heart happy.

My mother's in town for the rest of the week, and she's bored out of her mind. how can I tell?

After badgering me about work all day she finally sat down and demanded I do the dishes (mind you there was one pot in the sink). Then she asked to borrow my DVDs. Brokeback Mountain and 28 days later.

Her comments;
Mom about Brokeback Mountain: Ew, such pretty boys engaging in those things.
Mom about 28 days later:
...you could have warned me about the small penis, jesus didn't they have enough in their budget for a penis stand in. No pun intended.

Me: (absolutely horrified) Ew... MOM.

Then she sits down and watches American Pie with my brother and says "Is it wrong that I kinda want some apple pie now?

My mother is INSANE.

i haven't written in this thing for quite some time and when I do get around to writing in it again there's always something humorous and not so serious to write about. I wish this could be the case this time. I've done a lot of growing up, some people might see it, others might not... but I certainly do. Things that were once important to me no longer are, other things are my main priority. There's more to worry about than all the childish drama that takes place and who fancies who this week or what colour shoes Paris Hilton wears with the Hankie she tries to pass off as a dress. So much more.

I've been watching the news a lot more than usual, it's all rather depressing and most of the time i'm left in tears by the end of the broadcast. I'm not Israeli, Palestinian, Syrian, Lebanese, Iraqi, or from any other of those war torn countries. However, i am human, and those are people out there dying, most of the time it's children who don't even know why it's all happening. What terrifies me the most is... this could very well turn into an all out World war.

I hope they find a resolution to this conflict before it all escalates further, I want there to be as little casualties as humanly possible. I want there to be a fucking news cast without them talking about people dying and the effects this war is having on the global economy... for once I'd like to hear of those shoes Big foot(paris Hilton) is wearing even if I might not care much for them.

Allow me a moment to bitch about the Dutch players.

Sure, in football you want to soften up your opponents but GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL MANICHE!!! PORTUGAL 1 NETHERLANDS NIL

wait I was going to bitch for a moment wasn't I? Okay I remember what about. THEY DELIBERATELY KICKED CRISTIANO RONALDO he's hurt now and that just rubbed me the wrong way. As you know... I'm not a Ronaldo fan, he plays for Man U, Tatiana HATES Man Utd. (shut up Brody) but he's pretty... I like watching him play, yes. And I enjoy listening to him speak his broken english... and he's an amazing technician okay enough of that, but really that was just the most horrible attempt to give their team an advantage. 27 minutes in and poor Cristiano is still limping but playing his little heart out.

I will be updating this several times during the match seeing as how this is an important one. We find out who plays England next.

HAHA DUTCH PLAYER HAVING A TANTRUM!
------------

Edit: Ronaldo's out. And he's crying. I want to hug him :(
Edit#2: 44:00 RED CARD Costinha out, Portugal now playing with 10 men. (At least Pauleta's still in)

Edit#3: Spoke too soon... Pauleta's out at halftime. I am officially sad.
Edit#4: HAH! HE'S OUT 10 on 10 once again and FIGHT!!!!!!! no wait just the whole team arguing with him heh.
Edit#5: THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A REDCARD! HE SHOVED SIMAO! He SHOVED HIM and the benches cleared lol. Okay Yellow Cards galore. my god everyone's going to get a yellow card.
EDIT #5: THIS IS A FUCKING TRAVESTY! SECOND YEWLLOWCARD FOR DECO AND NOTHING FOR COCU got NOTHING COMPLETE AND TOTAL BULLSHIT. 9 for Portugal vs 10 for the dutch. Portuguese keeper is hurt the Portuguese are dropping like flies :(
Edit #6: RED CARD BROCKENHURST IS OUT 9 vs 9

So much to say and not enough words to use.

I just watched the ER episode I had been waiting for so long to see and it left me in tears. Those of you who do watch might have guessed what was going to happen, Michael Gallant did die. I didn't even liked his character but I cried, not because of him... but because of Neela (and when Ray attempted to comfort her). Parminder did such an amazing job.

After watching this episode I'm left asking "What now?". What happens with Neela now and Ray as well. I mean she was just so cold when he attempted to comfort her and it's understandable she's grieving but he was only trying to be a friend. I mean that IS what he is right? Her friend. Best friend at that. I'm just in *Emo sigh/tear* mode. Damn it all. I need begining of season 12 Rocker Ray and Dr. Jumbomart, that will make me feel better.

Oh my god! If Lost isn't the biggest mind fuck ever I don't know what is. And every time it totally fucks with your mind it's like the most mind blowing orgasm of your life. Sad I'm comparing a show to sex but hey... is there any other way to describe it?

1(877)HANSORG [1(877)4267-674] in the US. Now when you call this number dial Hurley's numbers, it's the inbox and password 4 8 15 16 23 42 (type it in all at once). There you can here the blokes messages, it's totally strange. Now that Lost is finished I must prepare for tomorrow night's episode of ER... I might just cry.

PS- :( Hurley's talking to Libby. It's sad.

I'm watching American Idol and Simon is being nice! Ryan said Simon's sipping on the Happy Juice and I was all jealous at the possibility of him drinking on the job and me not being able to do the same.

Drinking on the job is bad...mmmkay. (But if you are going to do it don't get caught :))

I miss stirring things, making people uncomfortable so… that’s exactly what I’ll do right now. Please do not click if you are easily offended. I have accepted the fact that I am going to hell for my lack of religious belief and blatant disrespect of all religions not just the ones I will mention (Which happen to be Catholic/Chritian and Jewish) You’ve been warned.

So I watched The Ten Commandments )

Oh! New header image because I love Ray and Neela. They need to hurry up and snog just to make me happy, so what if Michael Gallant is fighting in Iraq NEELA’S DUTY IS to be a good doctor and to be a good wife (but not to Michael Gallant!) , not to be brainwashed into falling in line with some pseudo-patriotic delusion.

Okay I’m done.

I completely forgot about this damn thing, I'm fine! Alive and well and all that jazz.

Mummy dearest has said she wants to move to Hawaii and my little brother's all excited (he's being a dickless wank as of late as well but that's another story) not that I don't think they won't move after all she seems rather determined and ehh wants me to come along. I don't know though, I've been making arrangemnts to move back to Wales for a while with the baby, who by the way has 4 teeth and bites incredibly hard, and I don't fancy moving to the same state my mother will be in (especially a small group of islands) no matter how beautiful it is.

Anyway, I've got to run. Take care :)

4 weeks until the 2006 Winter Olympics start.

I enjoy figure skating, and I was not disappointed by nationals (not completely disappointed that is) Sasha Cohen was stunning, her free skate was amazing and she was sick! Its amazing what that woman can do when she's focused. I can't wait until she feels she's ready to bring out the quad jump in competition and actually lands it. It'll certainly be something.

Kimmie Miesner annoys the fuck out of me. "Oh waaaa my throat was hurting thats why I fell blah blah blah" fucking whiner. Okay, yeh you're getting a cold. LOOK AT SASHA SHE HAD THE FLU AND SHE SKATED FLAWLESSLY. Quit yer bitchin, stop whining and get your ass in gear for the Olympics or you'll be stoned... BY ME! K TNKS.

Michelle Kwan was out with a groin injury, this will be her last Olympics assuming she does go. The USOC (United States Olympic Commitee)is sending a doctor out to examine her and then thy'll see her skate her program and decide if she's on the olympic team. if she doesn't go I assume they'll put Emily Hughes on the team (Sarah Hughes' little sister). But good luck to Michelle I hope she really makes it to Torino and when she does she needs to win the gold medal, it'll be the perfect finish to an amazing career.

Edit: KWAN'S ON THE TEAM!!!
-----------------------------------------

Men's figure skating.

Never been much of a fan until about... 5 years ago. The male russian skates are bleedin amazing but we're not talking about them. We're talking about the US team. And what an amazing team we have!

1) Johnny Weir (brilliant when he wants to be and HE'S FROM NEW YORK!)
2) Evan Lysacek- oh he was great. he's so fun to watch and it's just a pleasure to see a male skater be... manly!
3) Matt Savoie!- Okay I cannot sing my praises for Savoie enough times. He was fucking amazing. Seriously, he skated a flawless free skate, he was charming he had energy and everyone loved it. I'm glad he made the team even though I'm a bit sad that meant Michael Weiss didn't make it. But I'm confident that he'll medal at the Olympics, he's that damn good.
-----------------------------------------

Skiing.

Bode Miller.- He might be drunk while going down the mountain. It'll be amusing, to say the very least.
Janica Kostelic- I don't know much about her but I hear she can win 3 medals, so all the best to her.
-----------------------------------------

SPEEDSKATING!
okay I LOOOOOOOVE Speedskating. And this is something you will hear a lot about once the Olympics start... well at least from me.

Mens- Shani Davis (Who also happens to be a Short Track speed skater) will do great, if he can keep focused. He's got a lot on his plate since he will be competeing in short track as well. Chad Hedrick- new comer. should be fun to see him skate.
Women- Jennifer Rodriguez should come back, not sure if she will though.
----------------------------------------

Short Track.

Men- APOLO ANTON OHNO. Need I say more? I think not. Not only is he GORGEOUS but he's fast as hell. won a gold and a silver. I expect big things from him this year!

Women- They weren't much of a threat in 2002 but they should be great this year there's a girl who made the team named Hyo Jung Kim. She's originally from South Korea but HAH! she's an american citizen now and she gets to compete for us.

Okay I know you all know that I'm ntot usually all GO USA but this IS an Olympic year so piss off yeh? :P

Hello!

I am alive and well, if anyone was wondering. I have been very busy; work, work, school, work, work, family- you all know how it goes.

I’ve started taking German and I still stand by what I said before- it always sounds as if they’re talking about meat, but I like German stuff- Franka Potente is German and I adore her (maybe I should make a Meeting Franka Update section as well).

Phrases I’ve learned:

1) Tschus!- Bye, cya later. (or something… its really something you say to friends not people of authority… duh)
2) Konnen Sie mir helfen?- Can you help me? (Which I will be saying a lot because I am going to FAIL German)
3) Pornographie, Kase, Schokolade und Wein. Gibt es noch etwas, die Sie Ihrem Hotelraum mochten?- Pornography, cheese, chocolate and wine. Is there anything else you'd like in your hotel room? (Male classmates prove to be rather amusing in a childish, immature sort of way. Fun!)

On completely unrelated news:

I love Bollywood movies and James McAvoy (yes… Mr. Tumnus). If you haven’t seen Bride and Prejudice, Rory O’Shea was here –With James McAvoy- (or) Deewar… then what are you waiting for? Do it now!
I was almost tempted to wear my Lehenga and speak with an Irish accent!

Anyways, I must go. You all take care my dears. Ciao.

Pardon the rambling but I just had to (No Tom Cruise update this time) But I was watching E.R and the entire time their going through Abby’s story and all and it was just so touching. E.R. is getting soooooo intense now I love that show. Not only is Neela (Parminder Nagra who I absolutely love) going to be going through some really intense shite next week this is going to be awesome.

Anyways back to today’s episode… Abby heads to the Abortion Clinic and they cut to Luca completely freaking out in the hospital eventually giving in and helping the 15 year old pregnant rape victim have a miscarriage (“giving god a chance to reconsider”) then he said some bible verses which would have been touching if I were a good catholic (which I am not). Then COLD WATER by DAMIEN RICE begins to play and I am in tears at this point. Well Luca meets Abby by this wharf and he’s telling her he doesn’t want the abortion to be the end of their relationship and…
Oh, Abby is keeping the baby! She couldn’t do it! ABBY’S GUNNA BE A MUMMY!!!

Now I will run off and collect myself so I can make coherent sentences, I bid you adieu!

Your Social Dysfunction:
Happy

You're a happy person - you have a good amount of self-esteem, and are socially healthy. While this isn't a social dysfunction per se, you're definitely not normal. Consider yourself lucky: you walk that fine line between 'normal' and being outright narcissistic. You're rare - which is something else to be happy about.

Take this quiz at QuizGalaxy.com

Please note that we aren't, nor do we claim to be, psychologists. This quiz is for fun and entertainment only. Try not to freak out about your results.

You see that, I'm normal (almost)!

Restless.
Frustrated.
Infuriated.

I haven’t slept all night, can’t seem to close my eyes long enough to let sleep creep upon me. This frustrates me. Instead it’s 7am, I’m the only one awake and I’m listening to depressing music (thank you Il Divo). This isn’t normal. Not for me at least. I did some writing. I read. I watched TV. I read some more. Wrote some more. Plotted. Hell, I even studied. I start school on Thursday and I’ve begun studying already (Not that I stopped for long). I really hope my sleeping pattern isn’t changing again I had a nice one going last week. In bed by 2am awake by 7am. At work by 9am home by 2pm. Time at home with the people that matter most after that. Pretty sweet deal.

Ugh. It’s just so…UGH!

That pretty much sums it all up doesn’t it?

Happy New Year everyone.

I hope you all had a lovely New Years Eve and transitional minute into 2006. My evening was pretty quiet, had a few drinks with a few family members (all of age of course I do not condone underage drinking), had a chat with an old friend and watched the Aston Villa vs. Arsenal match on the telly.

I don’t know the results of the match, I fell asleep (it was like 4am) and unfortunately I had no dreams of the lovely Milan Baros. Pity really. Then again all my dreams are rather odd… need I remind you of naked Peter Jackson streaking in slow motion and Doug Howlett’s dogs attacking me while Luke McAlister stole my wallet?
I didn’t think so

My Mum’s sick, she stuck in Hartford Connecticut until god knows when. I told her to stay there until she feels better I don’t want her driving if she’s going to have to stop on the side of the highway to puke every 5 minutes. I do admit I miss her, didn’t spend Christmas with her because… well I really wasn’t up for Christmas this year to tell you the truth and she started driving down from Boston in a bloody snow storm. She’s mental.

Well that’s all for now, I have to run off and get a few things done. Have a good one everybody.

I want to meet Tom Cruise.

However, there are conditions which I will have to insist upon… that is if I were to really meet him.
1) Tom would have to stay crazy- what’s the fun in meeting Tom Cruise if you can’t go back and make fun of his new found insanity?
2) We must talk about Scientology- What better way to prove his insanity? I mean come on; they believe alien souls were implanted in humans at the beginning of time.
3) He’s banned from talking about Post Partum Depression- if he wants to live. Or maybe I’ll let him talk about it and I’ll call up Brooke Shields and have her squash him… with her eyebrows!

I will work on it. If I succeed I will be sure to brag about (not meeting Tom Cruise but) meeting someone crazier than I am.
